Nain, Labrador
We've been on the go North of Nain for the last 3 1/2 weeks. That means no phone, no e-
mail and not much contact with anyone else. We're on a short stop in Nain and then headed south so just a quick update. More stories and amazing pictures to come . . .
But for all of you waiting to know . . . we saw 10 polar bears and 15 black bears! But we didn't go ashore much either.
A few thoughts on northern Labrador -
-When there are no people or boats around for hundreds of miles, you can swap crossword puzzles with the only other boat around and no one else chimes in.
-A polar bear can do a handstand in the water.
-Up here you either have cold or mosquitos but hopefully not both at the same time.
